Mnemonics are mental tricks to help you remember items such as lists (the Process Groups or the Knowledge areas), orders of processes, sequenced items, etc.
These can be useful during the "brain dump" phase at the beginning of your test.

Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Human Resources, Communication, Risk, Procurement
Letter Sequence: I,S,T,C,Q,HR,C,R,P
Sentences:
- I Saw The Crazy Queen, HeR Carriage Rolled Past
Uses a bright visual image
- In Scary Times, Cordial Quakers Humbly Recited Common Rites Proudly
Handy because the first two letters of each word match the first two letters of the Knowledge Areas
- I suspect those champion quarter horses can really prance.
For those that like horses/horse shows.

Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring & Controlling, Closing
Letter Sequence: I, P, E, M&C, C
Sentences:
- I Prefer Eating Mac & Cheese Cold
Uses a tasty visual image
- Improperly Pierced Ears May Cause Crying
Just in case this triggers a memory-response from your childhood...
- I Probably Exceeded My Card's Credit
In case you've had a flood at your house or something
- Infuriating programming errors makes Chaney crazy
